Coach: Melanie Chowns

Melanie Chowns, Great Britain national women’s team coach, commented “This will be a good opportunity for our young players to gain experience on the international scene, but as this is the first official outing for the junior Great Britain squads, we need to be realistic about our expectations”.

Bill Baillie, Great Britain men’s team coach, added “Building on the work done by the England and Scotland home teams, we have opted to take an older squad and enter the under-21 competition, this fits better with the stage of planning we are at with the boys.”
